You can keep costs down by buying a side of beef -- or a portion of one -- all at once. Bulk sales help us minimize overhead, logistics and waste, thus allowing us to give you the highest quality meat at the best value. "Going in" with friends or neighbors can make it especially easy to buy in bulk.

If you choose a bulk purchase, you can request a half, quarter or eighth. If you buy a quarter, you will receive a "half of a half," not the front or rear quarter. An eighth represents a similar division of a half. A half amounts to approximately 300 pounds of packaged meat.

(Note that one whole animal will yield approximately: 20-25% steaks; 20-25% roasts; 45-50% ground beef; and 10% miscellaneous cuts.)

| Grill Pack (25% discount off regular prices): 6 packages of steaks (Note that a “package” is 1 or 2 steaks, depending on their size, according to the butcher’s choice); 3 roasts/brisket; and 5 lbs ground beef.
Family Pack (25% off regular prices): 6 roasts/brisket; 15 lbs ground beef; 5 pounds or more of stew meat, ribs and/or specialty meat (optional).
Ground Beef Pack (25% off regular price): 10 lbs or more of ground beef
| MORE ON BUYING IN BULK: You will receive an array of steaks, roasts, ground beef and other items such as soup bones, organ meats and ribs, according to the "standard" way that our slaughterer cuts the meat. Steaks are typically cut at a one-inch thickness. Roasts are usually cut to around three or four pounds.
Customers purchasing large bulk orders may make special requests. Please tell us if you do or do not wish to receive organ meats. Many parts of the animal can be cut into various kinds of steaks or roasts, and some of the same cuts have different names, depending on the butcher or the customary name in a certain region.
